Description:

The Freestyle Libre Flash Glucose Monitoring System is a device used for continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) in people with diabetes. It’s designed to provide real-time glucose data to help individuals manage their glucose levels more effectively. It is compatible with smartphones. You can set low and high glucose level alerts, which notify you if your glucose levels fall below or rise above your target range.

How to use:

1. Apply the sensor: Use the disposable applicator to apply the sensor to the back of the upper arm. The process is quick and comfortable.

2. Wait for the sensor to warm up: Allow 1 hour after application before scanning.

3. Scan the sensor: Use either the FreeStyle Libre reader or the LibreLink smartphone app. Hold the device near the sensor to scan.

4. View your glucose results: After scanning, the device will display your current reading along with glucose trends and history.

Safety Information:

• Apply the sensor to clean, dry skin.

• Avoid areas with scars, moles, or tattoos.

• Choose a flat area for application.

• Do not bend or fold the sensor.

• Avoid swimming or intense activity for 12 hours after application.

• Calibrate the sensor every 12 hours for accurate readings.

• Replace the sensor every 14 days.

Storage Information:

• Keep the sensor in its original packaging until ready for use.

• Open the packaging only when you’re ready to apply it.

• Apply the sensor within 30 minutes of opening.

• Store in a cool, dry place if not in use.

• Do not use an expired sensor.
