Standard N95 masks are respiratory masks approved by NIOSH( National Institute of Occupational Safety & Health) used to filter very small oil-free air borne particles like dust, smoke, mold, pollutants etc. As the name suggests N95 masks filter the air particles as small as 0.3 microns with 95 per cent efficiency. It doesn’t guard you against gases, vapours, asbestos, glycerin or lubricants.
